Application Documents
- Passport valid for at least 6 months with at least 2 blank pages and its photocopy
- Two (02) visa application forms completely filled out by computer by the applicant, dated and signed.
- 2 biometric photos taken within the last 6 months (white background)
- Photocopy of national ID card
- Full civil registration record
- Invitation letter from the family member in Algeria (notarized)
- Photocopy of the inviter's Algerian ID/passport and residence permit
- Documents proving family ties (marriage certificate, birth certificate, etc.)
- Documents showing the financial status of the inviter (bank account statement, payroll)
You can apply for a family visa to visit your first-degree relatives (spouse, child, mother, father) residing in Algeria. This visa type is generally valid for short-term visits.
The invitation letter must clearly state the purpose, duration, and accommodation details of the visit.
NOTE: Documents that are unclear or taken with a phone are INVALID.
Important Points to Note
- Algerian visa applications are usually processed within 2 – 3 business days. However, this period may be extended depending on consulate workload.
- The approval or rejection of the visa is entirely at the discretion of the Algerian Consulate.
- It is strongly advised not to make airline ticket, hotel, or tour bookings before your visa application is finalized.
